Mrs. Minnie Lee Welch's Obituary
Mrs. Minnie Welch was born on December 9th, 1920 to the late Fred and Zula Lewis. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, then later moved her membership to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until God called her home. She was raised in the town of Union, Mississippi where she met the late Mr._ Walter Welch. They later married, where God joined their union and they were blessed with seven children; BJ. (Doris) Welch of South Carolina, Mary Thomas who preceded her in death, Mavis Lanier of Meridian, MS, Ms. Bobby Chaney uf Sandusky, Ohio, Walter "Hamp" (Beatrice) Welch of jasper, Georgia, Minnie Billups of Detroit, Michigan, and Larry (the late Belinda) Welch of Meridian. MS. She leaves to airryon her legacy; 7 sisters, 5 brothers, 6 children, 22 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Zula lewis and father Fred Lewis, her husband Walter Welch and daughter Mary 'fhomas, 4 brothers, 5 sisters, 4 grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
