Mrs. Nancy Mae Tucker's Obituary
NANCY MAE TUCKER, the daughter of the late O.D. and Verda Brown Blanks, was born in Meridian, Mississippi on February 15, 1948.
Nancy received her formal education in Porterville Public School. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal savior at St. Luke Primitive Baptist Church, Porterville, MS. She later joined Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Bailey, MS.
On April 7, 1968, she united in holy matrimony to Willie Albert Tucker. Nancy later joined New Life Independent Baptist Church. She was a dedicated member and enjoyed attending services.
For over 50 years, she worked for Sara Nell and Norvin Wilson. She was truly treasured and loved by the Wilson family. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,
sisters, Mary Johnson Amerson and Juanita Blank Fowler; brother, Willie James Grace, Sr., stepson, Willie E. Moffite, and grandson, Quandarius Moffite.
She leaves a lifetime of memories to be cherished by her daughter, Lakeisha Tucker; five grandchildren, Arieyana, RevaShawn, George, Jayden and Azariah; two great-grandchildren, Ricardo Dixon and Roderick Cooper; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Moffite, step grandchildren, Derrick Moffite, Quinn Moffite, Willie Moffite, and Andrea Moffite; three brothers, Harold G. Blanks, Freddie L. Blanks, and James Blanks; three sisters-in-law, Minister Annie Grace, Patricia Moore, and Christell Hill; a special cousin, Bennie (Pete) Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
