Mrs. Nannie Mae McAllister's Obituary
Sister Nannie Mae McAllister was born on December 25, 1932 to the late Bradley and Phyllis Griffin in Philadelphia, Mississippi. She resided in Mississippi throughout her life and worked very faithfully as a homemaker, companion, and loving mother. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Sister McAllister was united in matrimony to the late Shed McAllister Sr. Together, they continued their spiritual growth in Christ. She was born into The Pentecostal Church of God, under the leadership of, Apostle W.J. Peterson. She faithfully served under the administration of Bishop J.J. Sears, Bishop Marcela Evins, and Bishop Andrew Stephens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shed McAllister Sr., and her son, Joseph McAllister. Sister McAllister leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Shed McAllister, Jr. (Debra); David Lee McAllister (Connie) both of Meridian, MS and Henry Lee McAllister (Karen) Chattanooga, TN. Three daughters; Annie Mae Woods (Lawyer), Meridian, MS; Emma Leigh Williamson (Renardo) and Betty Jean Williamson (Dominic) both of Dayton, OH. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
