Mr. Nathaniel Brown's Obituary
Mr. Nathaniel was born on October 5, 1950 to the late Dorothy Mae
Brown McCormick and was the youngest of two children.
Nathaniel Brown was a loving brother to the late Clavion "Calvin"
Brown and a loving son and father as he knew how to be. Nate
married twice, and he leaves behind from his first marriage his son
James Brown and his daughter Liliana Brown, and from his second
marriage, his daughter Ebony Eck and her husband Marcus Eck.
Nathaniel Brown leaves behind 5 grandchildren: Bella Brown, Semaj
Williams- Brown, Lily Eck, Brody Eck, and MJ Eck, and a host of
nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Nathaniel Brown graduated from Roosevelt High School and served
in the US Army for 25 years. For 15 years, Nathaniel served as an E7
Sergeant for the Military Police, where he earned many vocational
certificates and retired in Holland. He returned to St. Louis, Missouri,
where he served another 10 years at the Federal Reserve Bank as a
Federal Reserve Police Officer. Impassioned by sports, he would work
as a baseball empire, helping mold athletes from Little League to
College Professional. Through his time in Europe, Nathaniel had
learned to speak Dutch and a bit of German.
Nathaniel Brown deeply loved different cultures and made it a point
to learn about them, whether that be from travel or culinary. He was
not always the easiest person to get along with and tended to be
somewhat introverted, but he was insightful and had a radical
acceptance for many things. He loved sports and cars. His life was
not easy, yet he worked hard to try to love A few times and was
always striving to be a good father. Nathaniel most certainly lived his
life by his terms, and he died on his terms, at home as he always
planned.
We send you loads of light and love on your journey to your next life,
and we love and will miss you!
