Nebraska Williams Powe was born on October 30, 1942 to the late Mary Jane Davis in Enterprise, MS.
Nebraska was educated in Clark County, MS. She united with El Bethel Baptist Church in Meridian where she was a longtime faithful member. Her hobbies included needle point and gardening. She leaves to cherish her loving memory eight children: George Williams, James Williams, Neberta Jones, Mary Clark Monteith, Nebraska Robinson, Alexander Williams, Louise Williams Brown and Florence Thornton; twenty-six grandchildren: Sedrick Williams, Nita Tatum, Tina Clark, Joycelyn Bowdre,· Tracee Clark, Olatunji Mann, Teresita Dedeaux, Latonia Hoard, Laura Brewer, Lanina Reid-Heinold, Adil Xmann, Tanita Robinson, Nazar Xmann, Abdul! Shabazz, Ahmed Shabazz, Zipporah Brown, Kristy Eady, Jonathan Williams, Isaac Williams, Anthony Williams, Jerry Javon Williams, Samuel Tito Williams, Patrick Williams, Ke!-: vin Williams, Dionicia Reed and Jadarreon Williams. She also leaves a host of great grandchildren, greatgreat grandchildren, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Powe, her mother, Mary Jane Davis, one son, Samuel Williams, and three grandsons, Leymone Williams, Elbert Brewer, Jr., and Ronald Williams.
