Nelson Martell Jordan, aka Marty was born February 8, 1984, in Houston Texas. He was the second of four children born to Janice and Ricky Jordan.
Nelson accepted Christ at an early age. He attended John The Baptist Missionary Baptist Church in Pachuta, Mississippi. Nelson graduated from Heidelberg High School in 2003. After graduating from high school he attended Meridian Community College and received his Associates Degree in the Arts. He went on to become a professional pastry chief and home designer.
Nelson was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Jordan; his maternal grandparents, Mr. Emmitt and Mrs. Pansy Jones; and a special great aunt, Babe R. Keeler He departed this earthly life on Friday, June 28, 2019, at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, South Carolina. Nelson leaves to cherish his unwavering love and memories; his mother Janice Jordan of Pachuta, Mississippi; his father Ricley Jordan of Pachuta, Mississippi; two brothers Ricardo Jones of Hempstead, Texas and Kenith Jones of Pachuta, Mississippi; three sisters, Victoria Jordan of Bay Springs, Mississippi; and LaToriaJordan of Pachuta, Mississippi and Janet Jordan of Laurel, Mississippi; three nieces, Khaila Jefferson of Meridian, Mississippi, Demerria Rambo of Bay Springs, Mississippi; and Jaylei Jordan of Laurel, Mississippi; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
