Mrs. Nettie Mae DeSears' Obituary
The lovely daughter of the late Seymour and Jeanette Crowther was born on July 21, 1941 in Meridian, MS. Her life on earth came to an end Monday, March 25, 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia as she claimed her heavenly home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Seymour and Jeanette Crowther and siblings: Ervin, Thomas, Fletcher, Luther Billy and Minnie. During her earthly life, at the age of eight she moved to Staten Island, New York with her family where she was educated in the New York Public School System. She was blessed with three wonderful children: Ronald Sr., Maurice and Elena. She was employed with the Department of Homeland Security for over 20 years before retiring in 2007. She leaves to cherish her memory her aunt Mary smith; sister Jeanette Vaughan; children Ronald Sr. (WifeMarvis), Maurice and Elena; grandchildren: Ronald Jr. (wifeEddalene), Mechel, Sherelle, Steven and Shirley; beloved brothers and sisters: Betty, Elaine, Etoy, Ezell, Shirley, Levine, Gladys, Susan and their mother Gladys (Crowther) Henson, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
