Mrs. Nicole O'Field Langston's Obituary
Nicole Shante (O’Field) Langston was born to Fredwrick Young and the late Samantha O’Field on May 23, 1990. She joined Mt. Cephus Primitive Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Elder Leslie Jackson. She participated in the youth choir and later assisted with the daycare at the church. She graduated from Southeast Lauderdale High School in 2008. She received her nursing certification in September of 2014 and worked as a CNA for a short period of time.
Nicole leaves a legacy of love and memories to her family. Samantha O’Field, Mother; Paternal Grandparents, Armster and Temple Young; Maternal Grandparents, Wallace and Annie O’Field; Paternal Uncle, David Lee Shelton; and Maternal Aunt, Sylvia Dianne O’Field all preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her precious baby girl, Nadia S. Wheeler; her loving and devoted father, Fredwrick Young; her loving step mother Renee’ Young; supportive and loving mother Deborah Young; her “Big Baby” brother Fredwrick W. Young. She leaves behind three stepsisters, Querida Williams (Starkville, MS) Aaporsha and Miranda William; a dear cousin who she referred to as her sister, Ratisha O’Field; a loving grandfather, William Naylor; a dear and devoted grandmother, Dora Naylor, all of Meridian, MS; Her ex-husband, Ben Langston (Hickory, MS), who remained her close friend; and a host of uncles, aunts, and other relatives and friends.
