Ms. Nicoles Hunt's Obituary
Nicoles Lechone Hunt was born to Mary James and the late Fred Brown, Sr., on January 19, 1973 in Meridian, Mississippi. At an early age, she dedicated her life to Christ at the Historic First Union Baptist Church in Merid-ian. She later joined Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Collinsville, MS. Nicole was a 1992 graduate of Meridian High School. After high school, she decided to join her sister, Latrena, at Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi, to further her education.
Nikki, as she was known by many, was a very hard worker. She worked numerous jobs including Avery Dennison, J& J Construction as a concrete pourer, and Walmart where she worked until her health declined.
Nikki was one of the most upfront human beings anyone could ever know.
Even as a child, she always found a way to keep people on their toes. She was known for saying whatever she thought. Nikki was also very intelli-gent. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend.
Nikki made her heavenly transition Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Brown, Sr.; step-father, Lee Andrew James; two brothers, Willie Charles King and Fred Brown, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Joe Will and Olevia Hunt; paternal grandmother, Carrie Brown; sister-in-law, Vanessa Hill, and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.
She leaves a lifetime of memories to be cherished by her life partner of 23 years, James Hill of Meridian, MS; two sons, Dayveon Hunt (Latonya) and Davoreyon Hill (Kavia) both of Meridian, MS; her mother, Mary James; stepmother, Willie Mae Brown; three sisters, Latrena Hunt Hersey, Chastity Hunt (Ronald), and Louise Brown; four brothers, Willie Brown, Eddie Brown, Tarrence Clark (Tiffany), and Michael Lucky (Ashley); four grand-children, Destiny Hunt, Asia Mosley, Robert Mosley and Nicholas Jones; one uncle who played an important role in her life, Jessie Hunt (Dorothy); two aunts, Geraldine Cox and Juanita Williams; three sisters-in-law, Stacey Hill, Marie Hill and Juanita Hill; three brothers-in-law, Eddie Hill, Tracey Hill and Broderick Hill; six nieces, seven nephews, three great nieces, and three great nephews. She also leaves a second family which includes her best friend Aldia Perry, her sister, Lisa, brother, Ollie and their mother, Lucinda Houston; several close friends, Jessica Trussell and Danielle; a cousin who as a child made sure she attended church services and pro-grams, Ester Smith; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Nikk will forever be missed by the lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
