Mrs. Ora Dee Hall's Obituary
Mrs. Ora D. Hall was born June 21, 1921 to Mr. Booker T. Hearns and Mrs. Edna Watson Jackson. Mrs. Ora D. attended school in the city of Meridian.
At an early age she united with Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church where she served on many auxiliaries. Her young adult life she join the Historical First Union Missionary Baptist Church and her work continue in the auxiliaries of the church.
Mrs. Ora D. met the man of her dream Mr. Charlie Hall they were married in the year of 1939 to this union ten children was born. God saw fit to call her husband home in February of 1992.
Ora D were a housekeeper until her children were up in age and she started to work at the Sonic Drive Inn until she retired. Preceded in death: By her parents Booker T Hearns and Edna Watson Jackson, husband Charlie Hall Sr., four children: Charlie (Gator) Hall Jr., Jackie Hall Darrell, Booker T. Hall and Estola (Faye) Hall Clay, a daughter-in-law Minnie Hall and a son-in-law Robert Clay.
Ora D departed this life on July 30, 2019 at Anderson Hospital Meridian, MS A lovely person she was. A well-known person throughout her community. She was a mother to all who came around her and she never met a stranger. Mrs. Ora loved to travel in her golden year. Her favorite color was lavender. She was faithful to her Church until her health began to fail. Mrs. Ora D. mind was always on Jesus until the Lord called her home. Rests on Mother Hall take your rest. She leaves to cherish her precious memories; two sons: Willie "Dick" Hall Minneapolis, MN, Larry Hall Meridian, MS, four daughters; Sandra Roberts San Antonia, TX., Cathy Hall, Susan (Larry) Hardaway and Carol Hall Meridian, MS. A loving cousin Shirley Cunningham; two extended children Linda (Cookie) Guise Jackson, MS and Renea Frais Toledo, Ohio. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, cousin and friends.
