Mr. Paget Wingrove Dowdy's Obituary
Paget Wingrove Dowdy was born October 14, 1955 in London, England to the late Margaret Dowdy. He traveled to the United States when he was 5 years old and made a life in Brooklyn, New York. He retired from the United States Postal Service and he also worked with the New York Transit System.
In 2014 he moved to Mississippi where he resided until his death. Paget loved to collect comic books and rare coins.
He leaves to cherish his memories a special cousin, who was like a sister, Mrs. Sarah Dowdy Silberman of Brooklyn, New York. He also leaves two life long friends of 30+ years, Ms. Essie Gurganious of Brooklyn, New York and Jeanette Glover of North Carolina. He also leaves a God-Son, Mr. Johnathan Patne Glover of North Carolina. He also leaves to cherish his memories of the staff of Queen City Nursing Center of Meridian, Mississippi and a host of cousins and friends.
