Mrs. Patricia Sims Barron's Obituary
PATRICIA SIMS BARRON was born December 8, 1947, in Meridian, MS to Callie Mae Sims, the late Ollie Ray (Father) and Johnny Lee Sims. On July 9, 2019, God reached down and picked one of his precious flowers from the garden and placed her in the Garden of Life. Patricia's child, Laverne McMillian; granddaughter, Cierra Sims; brother, Carvann Sims; sister, Catherine Ray, two nieces; Charnesha Sims & Krystal Bell; one aunt and three uncles, all preceded her in death. She began her service to Christ at an early age. She was Baptized at Sunlight Baptist Church and she later joined Bethel Baptist Church. Ms. Patricia became a faithful member of Dominion & Power Life Center under the leadership of Apostle Paul Beard & Elect Lady Donna Beard. Patricia leaves a legacy of love to her family. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Callie Mae Sims, three daughters: Sharon Grace (John) and Barbara Jones Coleman, both of Meridian, MS: Adrian McMillian of Gardena, CA; five sisters: Sandra Jones (Larry), Laverne Perry (Bill) and Tina Sims Harrison (Jamie) of Meridian, MS; Brenda Jimerson, McDonough, GA and Charlotte Ree Shelton, Virginia Beach, VA; five brothers: Johnny Sims (Faye), Howard Sims (Mattie) and Travis Sims of Meridian, MS; Charles Ray (Delores), McDonough GA, Ollie (Skookie) Ray Ill, Long Beach, CA and Jerry Williams, Hattiesburg, MS. One aunt, Odell William, one uncle; Willie Whitlock, a dear friend/cousin, Ann Markam, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
