Mrs. Patricia V. Kitchen's Obituary
Patricia Vernette Kitchen was born on November 16, 1959 to the late Minnie and Douglas Adams in Meridian, MS. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal savior. Throughout the years, she visited numerous churches throughout the community. She was educated in the Lauderdale County School District. For many years, she was employed at the Galley Naval Air Station, Meridian. Patricia united in holy matrimony to Curtis Kitchen. Her favorite pastimes were playing internet games, talking on the phone (a lot), and joking around with people. She was also known to give advice to anyone who needed it.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Minnie and Douglas Adams; her grandson, Patrick Dewayne Dubose, Jr; and three sisters, Bertha Baylor, Mary Louise Baylor and Gwendolyn Baylor. She leaves to forever cherish her memory her husband Curtis Kitchen; her loving children, Rosonia Grady and Aaron Fikes both of Meridian, MS; two grandchildren: Jayla Almond and Gavin Houston, Jr.;four brothers: Arthur Baylor (Ruthie) and Willie James Baylor both of Meridian, MS, Douglas Adams (Lynn) ofToomsuba, MS, and Nicholas Adams (Sylvia) of Gautier, MS; biological parent: Sarah Mae McCalebb; two special nieces: JereshiaAdams and Erica Baylor; two special friends: Linda Martin and Yvette Roberts; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.
