Mrs. Patricia Ann Mathis' Obituary
Patricia Ann Coleman Mathis was born on March 29, 1951 in Meridian, Mississippi to Mrs. Dessie Ree Sharp Coleman Farmer and the late Urisas Coleman. At an early age, she joined the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where she served as pianist and Sunday school teacher for many years. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Willie Eugene Mathis. On December 29, 2013, God saw that she was weary and tired in her suffering and He called out to his child to come home. Her caring and giving spirit will be missed by all that knewher. Pat leaves behind to celebrate her life, two loving children, Mark L. Coleman and Roshonda L. Mathis of Meridian Mississippi, her mother, Mrs. Dessie Ree Farmer; brothers: Andrew Sharp, Jerry Coleman, Ralph Coleman, Fredrick Coleman, and Rev. Glenn Coleman; sisters: Joyce Jenkins, Brenda Harris, Barbara Harper, Audrey Brooks and Sandra Chambers. She also leaves her trusted and loving companion Percy Ray Chambers along with a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by two beloved sons, Michael Coleman and Scottie Eugene Mathis, a brother Urias Coleman, and a sister, Sharon Coleman.
