Mrs. Patricia D. McClelland's Obituary
Patricia Diane (Pringle) McClelland was born April 10, 1957. She was called home on September 14th, 2022. She is survived by a loving mother, Mattie S. Pringle & Step-father, P.L. Brewster, both of Meridian, MS. She leaves to cherish a very special companion of 17 years, Mr. George Newell of Heidelberg, MS. He was by her side until she gained her wings. She has a step daughter, April (Otis) Grace of Tallahassee, FL, two step sons, William Gowdy of Gulfport, MS and Michael Gowdy of Meridian, MS. She, also, had an adopted grandson, Tywan (Brittany) Gowdy and a great granddaughter, Tyrana Gowdy all of Meridian, MS. She accepted Christ at an early age and served our heavenly father faithfully throughout her life. Diane was the third sibling of nine children. She has 4 sisters, Alice L. Pringle, Chatia "Kathy" (Solomon) Randolph, Frances Pringle and Joyce Annette Pringle; 3 brothers, Anderson Lee Pringle, Johnny Pringle, Calvin (Vinnie) Pringle&, Oliver (Cassandra) Pringle in which all of Meridian/Toomsuba, MS. She, also, has a sister Rosie Clayton of Clinton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd (Ransom) Pringle, her two sisters Alice L. Pringle & Joyce Annette Pringle and one brother, Oliver Pringle. Diane, as everyone called her, worked as a domestic attendant for many years in Meridian, MS. She was very well loved by all she came in contact with. She was the life ,of any and every event. She loved to laugh and joke with all of her family members, even up to the day of her passing. She always had the biggest smile and funniest laugh. She loved her nieces & nephews as if they were here own. They loved to play fight and wrestle anytime she walked through the door. She will be truly missed and always loved.
