Mr. Paul Davis Goodwin, Sr.'s Obituary
Paul Davis Goodwin, Sr. was born February 29, 1944 to the late Charlie and Mittie Goodwin in Clarke County MS. On Monday,July 13, 2015 at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman, MS, Paul answered the Lord's call from his earthly journey to eternal rest with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents, his late wife, Hattie Mae Bland Goodwin, his son, Paul D. Goodwin, Jr and his brother, Samuel P. Hearns.
Paul leaves to cherish many memories with his special companion, Brenda May; three daughters, Paula (Jeffery) Watts of Racine, WI, Cicily Patton of Meridian, MS, Belinda Patton of Decatur MS; seven sons, Dale (Jessie) Bland of Meridian, MS, Patrick (Gloria) Goodwin of Newton, MS, Arthur Goodwin of Racine, Wl,Josh (LaTonya) May of Meridian, MS, Julius Orbro (Kimberly) May of Greenwood, MS, Lawrence (Nikki) May of Lena MS and Joey May of Waynesboro, MS; one brother, Charles (Ella) Goodwin of Meridian MS; one sister, Elouise Goodwin of Waynesboro, MS as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
