Mr. Paul Lydell Stancil's Obituary
Mr. Paul Lydell Stancil was born on March 6, 1967 to Mrs. Johnnie Mae Stancil and the late Mr. DeLeon Stancil. On Saturday, February 23, 2019 the Lord called Paul home to eternal rest.
Paul professed his faith and hope in Christ at an early age and was united with Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as sound technician until his death.
Paul was a 1985 graduate of West Lauderdale High School and continued his education at the University of Southern Mississippi, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. During High School Paul was a member of both the Football and Basketball Teams at West Lauderdale.
Paul was an industrious worker in the workforce, and cherished many lucrative careers at Peavey Electronics, Avery Dennison, UPS, Delco Remy, CertainTeed, as well as the Insurance Industry. Paul loved his family and was extremely proud of the achievements of his son, Jacquez.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted son Jacquez Stancil, of Meridian; a loving and caring mother Johnnie Mae Stancil, of Meridian; Three sisters, Shirley Clark, of Portland, OR, Robin (Oscar) Joseph, of Pass Christian, MS; and Veronica Gail Stancil of Meridian, MS; Three brothers, Carl Stancil and Gary Stancil of Bailey, MS and Roland Stancil, of Meridian, MS; and a host of family and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Mr. DeLeon Stancil, brothers, Michael Stancil and Donald Stancil; Sister, Audrey Stancil Burrage, Niece, Mia Annette Clark and two Great Nephews, Randy and Randarious Stancil Martin.
