Mr. Paul (Tommy) Terrell, Sr. was born to the late Martha and Judson Terrell on December 29, 1928 in Lauderdale County, Toomsuba, MS; married to Arnell Powell Terrell; two sons Paul Jr. and James Arthur Terrell; one son-in-law, Tom Lee Hopson; six brothers Ozie, Bennie Sr., Wilson Sr., David Sr., Grady Sr. and Joseph; four sisters: Ella Mae Miller, Mattie Mae Jenkins, Beatrice Powell and Frances Alford; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughters, all who proceeded him in death.
He became a member of Little Hope Baptist Church at an early age. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting and spending time with family & friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a daughter, Irene Hopson; two sons, Walter (Margaret) Terrell and Joe Lewis (Joann) Terrell; two daughters-in-law, Annie Louise Terrell, Toomsuba, MS and Faye B. Terrell of Kewanee, MS; a brother Judson Jr. (Lilly) Terrell of Aurora, IL; (24) grandchildren, (57) great grandchildren, (30) great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved him so dearly.
