Mrs. Peggy Jean Westerfield's Obituary
Peggy Jean Westerfield was born on December 5, 1956 in Meridian, Mississippi to the late Cleveland Burrage Jr., and Hattie Sue Burrage.
Peggy accepted Christ at an early age and joined Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.She was educated in the Lauderdale County School System. Peggy meet and married her late husband, Willis Westerfield, Jr., and to their union, one child, Kendrick Westerfield was born. After the lost of her husband and son, she united with Algine Hudson, and to their union two children were born. Peggy was employed with East Mississippi State Hospital for many years where she worked faithfully until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Westerfield, son: Kendrick Westerfield; father: Cleveland Burrage, Jr.; father-in-law: Willis Westerfield, Sr.; three brothers: Larry Burrage, Grover Burrage, and Wayne (Mattie) Davis; one sister: Melanie Burrage; two brothers-in-law: Donnie Westerfield and Frankie Cistrunk and a niece: Tabitha (Carlos) Roberts. She leaves to forever cherish her memories her mother, Hattie Taylor; one son: James Westerfield, one daughter: Alisha Westerfield; one step-daughter: Allisa Dock of Des Moines, Iowa; nine sisters: Alice (Frankie) Cistrunk, Fannie Burrage, Irene (Fred) Cross, Wilhelmina (Raymond) Ruffin, Wanda Burrage, Annetta Taylor, Cora (Kevin) Hudson, Caroline Lewis Thomas and Catherine Lewis; three brothers: Timothy Burrage, James Burrage and Alvin (Lahoma) Taylor; mother-in-law: Edna Westerfield; three brothers-in-law: Charles (Geneva) Westerfield, Keith (Ebony) Westerfield, and Jerome Overstreet; three sisters-in law: Kathy (Lewis) Baskin, Connie Westerfield and Phyliss Burrage; seven grandchildren: Kendrick Westerfield, Jeffery Westerfield, Jatavious Westerfield, Zikeia Westerfield, Reginald Jordan, Jr., Reginae Jordan and Olivia Moore. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
