Petra Michelle Turner was born December 22, 1971 to the union of Tommy and Dorothy Turner. She was a 1990 graduate of Grant Union High School in Sacramento, CA. Petra was a devoted employee of Quality Healthcare in Meridian, MS. Her co-workers and clients loved her dearly. Petra's love of life was evident by the many lives she touched with her infectious personality. She was passionate about loving and helping others; especially her animal friends. She leaves to cherish her memory; her son, Davonte Battle, mother, Dorothy L. Green, father, Tommy Turner, grandmother, Artis Turner, Godmother, Eva Rodriquez, brothers, Andre Turner, Walter Torrance, God sister, Sarah Wesley, nephew, Israel Turner, niec-es, Nioka Turner, Jacqulynn Johnson, Rickesha Campbell, and Deandra Fox, fiance, Howard (Mond) Bender, and a host of other family and friends from coast to coast. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents; Bill (Sport) and Emma Green, and John Turner, Sr.
