Mrs. Phanicia Ann Lake's Obituary
Phanicia Ann Lake aka "Big Bone Leggett" was born August 30, 1972 to Annie Pearl and the late Obie Leggett in Meridian, Mississippi. She departed this life on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian Mississippi. She accepted Christ in 1992 and united with St. John Baptist Church, Meridian, Mississippi. She attended Meridian Public School and was a graduate of Meridian High School. She worked at East Mississippi State Hospital, Hope Village and was currently employed with Compassus Hospice as a certified nursing assistant. In 1999 she married the love of her life Tommy Lake and to this union they had two girls. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and friend who loved to spread joy through love and laughter wherever she went. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, father and four siblings: Elijah, Howard, Wanda and Obie Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband Tommy Lake, two daughters Rutricia (Bron) Leggett and Tomanna Lake, a loving mother Annie Pearl Leggett, two sisters Matricia (Willie) Leggett and Paris (Tyrone) Hopson, all of Meridian, MS; one brother Ayman Hassan(Anita) DeKalb, MS; special brother Lafayette (Kim) Bolden; mother-in-law Emma Lake, three sisters-in-laws Barbara Lake, Janet Lake and Latoya Lake all of Lauderdale, MS; five aunts Faye Hopson, Earlie Mae Lewis, Desiree Boyd, all of Lauderdale, MS; Glenda Leggett, DeKalb, MS and Bobbie Clark, Meridian, MS; two great aunts Bertha Moore, Meridian, MS and Minnie Donald, Romulus, MI, three grandchildren and a host nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
