Mr. Quentin M. Gates' Obituary
Quentin Montrel Gates was born September 20, 1989 to Janice Gates and Elvin Sargent in Meridian, Mississippi. He departed this life on September 2, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital In Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his grandmother; Wanda Sargent, Great grand parents: Lester Gates Sr. and Alcinda Gates. Quentin joined Bethel United Methodist Church in DeSoto at an early age where he was a choir member and he also presided over the Praise Team. Quentin absolutely loved spending time with his family. Quentin graduated from Quitman High School in 2008, Afterwards, he attended Hinds Community College where he earned his L.P .N. Degree. He then attended Meridian Community College where he earned his R.N. Degree. Next he attended U.W.A. where he earned his B.S.N. Degree and lastly he was attending Franklin University where he was studying to achieve his degree as a Nurse Practitioner. He enjoyed traveling and being a nurse was his passion He was currently employed with Precision Health Care Staffing and East Mississippi State Hospital until his health failed. He was a loving and compassionate Nurse where he touched many hearts and always left his mark.
