Mr. Ralph Richardson Sr.'s Obituary
Ralph Lawrence Richardson Sr. was born on April 22, 1936 to the late Ray Richardson and
Minnie Mae McElroy. Ralph Lawrence Richardson Sr. was a long time resident of Meridian, Ms until he passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 15, 2021 at his home.
He met and married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Richardson in 1962 and they shared 10 children together.Ralph and Barbara Richardson retired from their jobs in New York and moved back home to Meridian, MS in 1994.
After returning home he came out of retirement and started working for Sears and later retired again during covid after 21 years of service.
He enjoyed spending time with family joking and dancing was his favorite thing to do.
He accepted Christ and united with Elizabeth United Methodist Church in Lauderdale, MS, where he served faithfully until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Richardson, Mother Minnie Mae MeElroy, maternal and paternal grandparents. One son Joel Kirksey, A special cousin whom was like a sister to him Carrie Mae Naylor and Numerous other family members.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories 3 daughters Larila Greer of Texas, Roxie Brassfield of New York and Tia Richardson-Fevry (Stan Fevry) of Maryland.
4 sons Gary Richardson of Brooklyn,NY, Ralph Richardson Jr. of Meridian, MS. Reginald Richardson (Sonia Richardson) of Seguin, TX, Jarrett Richardson of North Carolina, a host of grandchildren, Great-grandchildren,cousins and family.
