Mr. Randy Marvin Graham's Obituary
Randy Marvin Graham was born April 18, 1959 in Meridian, MS, to the late Roger and Liley Marie Wiley Graham. He accepted Christ at an early age in his attendance at 31st Avenue Baptist Church. He was a well-known music giant in his community and surrounding counties. Randy "Doc" Graham began working as a DJ in his early twenties when he began to master the art of mixing on turn tables and became one of the most requested DJs in the area. He went on to work at local radio stations: WQIC; T-91; KISS 104.1 ;and WNBN Gospel. His career took off when he became a regular DJ for the local club "Glass House." Doc's career progressed into concert promotion for very wellknown artists, like: The Fat Boys, MC Hammer, Luke, Lil Jon & the Eastside Boys, Bobby Rush, TK Soul, Big Rob, and Sir Charles Jones. He worked closely with local music giants, including with Turn Table Genius and Terrace Davis. During his career he was recognized and received an award at the annual music festival in Jackson, MS. Over the years, he was invited to BET award shows, MC of countless events and red carpet events. Doc's love for music gave him the opportunity to collab with blues singer, Carl Marshall, on the song "Put Your Hands On It." If you knew Doc, you knew that was one of the· highlights in his life to hear it play on iTunes. He is preceded in death by his parents; Roger and Liley Wiley Graham; sister, Rose Graham; nephew, Tony Graham; and brothers, Noah E. William, Robert Lewis, Tommy C. and James Cleo Wiley, and Earl & Rickey W. Graham. . He leaves to cherish his memories and his legacy the love of his life for 40 years, Ora of Meridian, MS. His six children: Kanika Jordan (Mike) of Biloxi, MS; Tameka Hodges of Texas; Khalia Scarbrough of Orlando, FL; Niteasha Foy of Houston, TX; Mileek Dunn of Meridian, MS; and Sophia Dunn of Tampa, FL. Four Sisters: Marilyn Graham of Baton Rouge, LA; Kim (Robert) Battiest of Arlington, TX; Ann Margret Terrell Burton of Ypsilanti, Ml; and Helen Williams of Meridian, MS. Three brothers: Charles Wiley of Atmore, AL; William Michael Graham; and Eddie Graham of Meridian, MS. A host of grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
