Mr. Richard Earl Cole's Obituary
Richard E. Cole was born on January 30, 1955 in Meridian, Mississippi to George W. Cole aka Baby George and Catherine Cole who preceded him in death. Richard received his formal education through the Meridian School system. Richard continued his education by attending trade school where he was taught roofing. He was later hired by Atlas Roofing Company after many years of service there; he became a valued employee of D & E Construction company until his retirement. In his leisure time Richard drove around in his pickup truck and spent quality time with his son Santell (Little Richard). Richard touched many lives with his smile and charisma. He made the best buttermilk cornbread. Richard departed this life on Tuesday August 18, 2020. Richard leaves to cherish his memory his son Richard Santell Cole and his brothers; George E. Cole (Slidell, LA), John L. Cole (Anchorage, Alaska), Alfred Cole (Atlanta, GA), Keith Cole, Douglas Cole, Donald Cole (Evelyn), Herman Cole all of Meridian, MS; four sisters Hazel Roston (Rev. Glover Roston, Sr-Cleveland, OH), Doica Stafford (Ellicot City, MD), Adriane Cole and Sharon Cole of Meridian, MS. He had a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In appreciation the family of Richard Earl Cole would like to thank everyone for all your acts of kindness and prayers extended during our time of bereavement.
