Mr. Robert "Bubba" Dancy's Obituary
Robert “Bubba” Dancy was born on May 17, 1931 to the late Viola and Wade Dancy Sr. In Electric Mills, MS. Bubba departed his life on September 22, 2015 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Bodka Valley Baptist Church in Electric Mills, MS. Later her married Laura Mae Pettus and was married for 14 years. To this union two children were born Vanessa and Marie Dancy whom all preceded him in death. Bubba was the 9th of 12 children of which 10 preceded him in death. Bubba retired from Carondelet Foundry in St. Louis Missouri after 30 years of dedicated service. After retiring he decided to move back home to Scooba, Mississippi where he enjoyed country living. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: one sister, Madie Dancy of Scooba, MS. A devoted friend, Mattie Brown of St. Louis, MO and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
