Mr. Robert Lee Dunn, Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Lee Dun, Jr. was born May 17, 1965 to the union of Robert Lee Dunn, Sr. and Juanita (Richardson) Dunn. On Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Anderson Regional Medical Center, Robert answered a higher calling, saying farewell to all his family and friends.
Robert was educated in Meridian Public Schools and graduated from Meridian High School. Robert worked 21 years at Brown Bottling Company, many years at Mitchell Distributing and Emerson Brick laying until his health failed. Robert dedicated his life to helping others. That was his passion. He used his God given talents to help others fulfill their needs. He dedicated his life to Christ and was baptized at an early age at Greater Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend J.W. Perrien, Jr. Later in his life, he joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert Wamsley, until his death.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert Dunn Sr., mother Juanita Dunn, one (1) brother Terry R. Dunn, grandmother Marcella Hinkle, grandfather Robert Richardson, Sr, father-in-law, Lonzy Moore, mother-in-law, Mattie Moore, great grandmother, Estella Haywood, two (2) uncles, Robert Richardson, Jr and Dwight Wilson, an aunt Nancella Hinkle Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife of 17 years, Sandra (Moore) Dunn, one (1) son Dontriel Spencer; one (1) daughter, Robin Brown; three (3) step children: Carolyn Moore, Danielle Brown and LaSonja Thomas Stevens; 13 grandchildren and four (4) great grandchildren. He also leaves two (2) brothers, Ronald (Tina) Dunn of Nashville, TN; Marcus (Evelyn) Dunn, one (1) sister Sharon (Antonio) Dunn of Meridian, MS; three (3) uncles James Earl Hinkle of Tampa, FL, Donald (Joann) Hinkle of Columbus, GA, Jerry (Drucilla) Hinkle of Meridian, MS; seven (7) aunts, Dianne IZebbie) Scott, Brenda (Nebraska) Hudnall, Carolyn (Lee) Naylor, all of Meridian, MS; Sandra (Lee Curtis) Malone, Jackie Hinkle, Alysha (Johnny) Clark, all of Atlanta, GA and Tonya Johns of Houston, TX; a special aunt, Hilda Keyes; three (3) special friends, Freddie Miller, James (J.T.) Parker and Chris Brooks along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
