Mr. Robert Earl Evans, Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Earl Evans, Sr. was born August 2, 1945 in Clarke County to the late William Cleveland Evans, Sr. and Dollie McGowan Evans. He departed this life on August 9, 2015 at Waktins Memorial Hospital, Quitman, MS. He received his High School diploma on May 19, 1964 from Central High School. Then Robert went 'to work at Burlington Industries in Stonewall, MS. He worked there for 33 years as an electrical technician. Robert joined Mount Zion Baptist Church at an early age, where he served as a deacon and filled in as Asst. Superintendent and teacher. He is preceded in death by his parents, the late William Cleveland Evans, Sr. and Dollie McGowan Evans, his son Robert Earl Evans, Jr and three brothers. Robert memories will be forever cherished by his daughters Patricia Ann Evans and Shonda Viverette, sister Louise Davis, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, two step-sisters, one step-brother, 3 sisters in laws and other relative and friends.
