Mr. Robert Earl Jennings' Obituary
Robert Earl Jennings was born on July 28, 1955 to Louis Everett Jennings and Johnnie Mae Bourrage Jennings in DeKalb, MS. He accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. James Naylor at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Bailey, MS. Robert Earl was preceded in death by his father, Louis Everette Jennings; two brothers, Everette Jennings and David Jennings; and two sisters, Bonnie Barney and Melissa Jennings.
He was in the United States Army from October 1976 to August 1982.
Robert Earl leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Johnnie Mae Jennings; two daughters, Lynette (Jeffrey) Rouse of Villa Rica, GA and Tia Jennings of Meridian, MS; one son, Preston (Shanice) Stancil of Meridian, MS; six grandchildren, Damian Cole, Izayus, Tyzarrius, Zirihyanna Stancil, Z’Mir Jennings and Treyvon Tucker; one great granddaughter, Da’Zariaunna Ruttley, all of Meridian, MS; one sister, Rosa LeFlore; three brothers, JR (Della) Jennings and Wilbert Jennings of Bailey, MS; Richard (Betty) Jennings of Meridian, MS; sister-in-law, Grady Marie Jennings; a lifelong companion, Gail Stancil; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
