Mr. Robert Earl Little's Obituary
Robert Earl Little was the eldest child born on June 11, 1946 in Kemper County to Johnnie Windham Sr. and Lucy Ethel Little. His mother describes him as "the biggest baby" she had. He was a strong, hardworking man. He graduated from Kemper· County High School. He was employed at Sanders Lumber Co., Back Country R.V., and Marvin's, where he received numerous awards of service, and from which he retired. He enjoyed traveling, automotive repair, motorcycling, gun and coin collecting. Robert Little was called home on October 1, 2013, at his residence in Lauderdale, with family and friends by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Sr., brothers, Johnnie B. Windham of Scooba, Johnnie Earl Windham of St. Louis, Eddie Spate of Biloxi, MS, and middle daughter, Ta'Mesia Little of Meridian. Robert was united in holy matrimony to Bernice Nettles May 16, 2000. Previously he was married to Dorothy Gowdy and from that marriage came three daughters and a stepson. He also had three sons before that marriage with Pearlie Mae Lane. Robert's Memories will be honored on by his mother, Lucy Little of Scooba, His six children: Lee Curtis Lane, Robert Earl Lane and wife Martha, all of Dekalb, Micheal Dewayne Lane and wife Tammia of Tupelo, Regina Denise Little-Avery and husband Brian Avery of Meridian, Ta'Mesia La'Sandra Little, of Meridian (deceased}, and Brandy Nicole Little of Meridian. Grandchildren: Amyah (Micheal's), Kierra, Tracy, and Joshua (Regina's), Isaiah, Destiny, and Zaccheus (Brandy's}, Tasha, Lasonya, Ashley, Emmitt (Robert's), Stepchildren: George Nettles and family, Florence Bourdeaux and family, Darryl Nettles and family, Darrin Bourdeaux and family, and countless other family members and friends.
