Mr. Robert "Earnt" Powell III's Obituary
Mr. Robert Lee Powell, Jr was born June 25, 1976 in Meridian, MS to the late Robert Lee and Linda Faye Powell. Robert attended Meridian Public Schools. He later graduated from Meridian Community College with a degree in Industrial Maintenance (2003) and Construction Trades (2004). He was employed by Meridian Housing Authority for many years prior to working independently. Robert departed this life on Tuesday February 4, 2020 surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by a cousin, Kolandus Seals, and aunt, Ollie Jean Clay. During his school years, Robert enjoyed playing basketball and baseball and spending time with numerous family members and friends. He later played City League Ball in Meridian and also enjoyed traveling. Robert brought immense joy and laughter to all of those in his presence and will be missed tremendously. Robert leaves many wonderful memories to be cherished by his children, Quidarius, Robert, Kristen, Amaya, and Grayson; siblings, Sharon (Joel) Baskin, Charlie (Shelia) Powell, and Rodney Powell; aunt, Willie Ruth Mosley; significant other, Ida Holliday; family in love, Robert, Anna, Kim, Gary, Frances, Cassandra, and Angela; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
