Mr. Robert James Sillimon II's Obituary
Robert James Silliman II was born June 3, 1994 to Robert James Silliman I and Eddie Mae Hicks -Silliman in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lauderdale, MS Robert enjoyed playing football in school and was a graduate of West Lauderdale High School Class of 2012. He furthered his education and football career at East Mississippi Community College where he earned his Associate of Arts Degree. After graduating from EMCC in 2013 he earned a football scholarship and went on to furthered his education and football career at the University of West Alabama where he earned his Bachelor in Business Administration in 2016. Robert realized after working in New Mexico for over a year that he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps to drive trucks. He earned his Commercial Drivers License in 2019. He was currently employed at EMEP A in Meridian, MS as a Business Analyst. Robert was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Ona Lee Hicks; grandmother, Hazel Hicks and Mary L Silliman; grandfathers, Eddie C. Forest and Benny Bryant. He leaves to cherish loving memories: his father, Robert James Silliman L-mother, Eddie Mae Hicks-Sillimon; great grandmother, Ada Ree Silliman; three sisters, Brittany Hicks, Ashley Bell, Maryon Silliman; two nieces, Taiylar Wilson and Hazleigh Grace Roby; two nephews, Preston .Wilson and Camden Walker; a God-brother, Dominick A. Goucher; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends that loved him dearly. We will forever remember Robert as being a respectful young man to all whom he met, with having the biggest heart and a Million Dollar smile that captivated many.
