Mr. Robert Williams' Obituary
Robert Williams was born August 7, 1940, in Canton, Mississippi, the son of Lean Otha and Lucille Oscar Williams.
Robert was a graduate of Flint Norther High School. After 36 years of service, he retired from truck and bus, a division of General Motors Corporation where he was a member of U.A.W. Local #598.
Robert enjoyed going to visit family. He also enjoyed going to the racetracks and casinos.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Otha and Lucille Williams; sisters, Bertha Davis and Lureather Norton; brothers, Johnnie Lee Williams and Otha Williams Jr.; first cousin, Lenette Haralson; stepson, Earnest Lee Spencer; brothers-in-law, earl Graham and Sammie Terrell. Most all originated from Flint, MI. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife of 35 years , Helen Williams; daughter, Sandy (N.C.) Bowen of Elkhart, IN; stepchildren: Tina Marie Meeks, Martin O. Meeks (Lora) of flint, MI; grandchildren: KaWanda M. Meeks of Las Vegas, NV; Edgar Clark, Martin O. Meeks Jr. (Kadija) of Flint, MI; great-grandchildren: Torey Abrams, Xylo Barzart and Nyen Barzart, all of Las Vegas, NV; Edgar Clark Jr., Omarion, Marie, Maya, Mina, Missy and Kimara, all of Flint, MI; two nieces: Patricia Pitts of Flint, MI and Sharon Reed of Elkhart, IN; Ricky Williams of North Carolina; special cousins: Frank (Arnette) Haralson of Mt. Morris, MI; Micah Haralson of Columbus, OH; Gardell Haralson and Patricia Norton, both of Flint, MI; Gene (Carrie) Taylor of Jackson, MS; Attie, Ida and Robin of Austin, TXl sister-in-law, Annie M. Terrell; brother-in-law, Randy (Ora) Graham of Meridian, MS; special friends: Reese (Juanita), Wileys, Grahams, Pitts, Thornton, Taylors, Anderson, Spencer, Meeks, Warners, Johnson and Day families; and a host of other relatives and friends.
