Roosevelt Cook, Jr. was born June 18, 1949 to the late Roosevelt Cook, Sr. and Mary Louise Cook of Lauderdale, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his brothers Johnny Ray Cook and Calvin Cook; and his son, Robert Brown. He leaves to cherish his loving wife, Gloria Crowell Cook; five sons-Robert Brown ( deceased), Kenneth Cook, Christopher Butler, Maurice Butler, Rayshard Cook and Jarvis Cook, all of Lauderdale, Mississippi; one daughter, Natasha Crowell of Meridian, Mississippi. He was always adored by all of his sisters and brothers. Eight sisters-Dorothy Ruffin (Joe Nathan Ruffin, deceased) of Cuba, AL; Joe Ann Blackshear (Ernie); Bertha Perry, Barbara Saulsberry (Willie), Abell Creer (Johnny), Helen Austin (MJ) all of Lauderdale, Mississippi; Ann Morris (Robert) of Memphis, Tennessee; Bonnie Clark (Ronald) of Mobile, Alabama. Three brothers, Eddie Cook (Lillie) of Lauderdale, Mississippi; and deceased brothers: Johnny Ray Cook and Calvin Cook Roosevelt Jr. leaves behind caring grandchildren, a host of be loving nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
