Ms. Rosa Marie Graham's Obituary
Rosa "Rose" Marie Graham, was born September 22, 1951, to the late Roger C. and Liley Marie Wiley Graham, in Meridian, Mississippi. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Purvis Church of God. She graduated from Northwestern High School in Flint, Ml. She worked many years at General Motors, Kith Haven Nursing Home, and Camp Shelby Military Base. Rose had a Great talent for cooking. Being from a large family, she began cooking large meals as a teenager. With every family gathering you knew who would be doing the cooking. Whistling, singing and listen to gospel music is what you heard from the kitchen. Rose was a volunteer at Christian services meals on wheels soup kitchen of Hattiesburg, MS. Rose was the Genuine Article; you could confide in her, she would comfort you, she prayed for everyone. Rose would always make you smile and laugh. Rose enjoyed traveling abroad Kosovo, Czechoslovakia, Italy, but her favorite was Germany. She truly believed in taking care of her family and friends, no matter what the distance. She touched the lives of so many people and never met a stranger. Rose way of resting her nerves was going to the "chang chang", SHE WILL BE MISSED She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Tina Marie Graham, Oak Grove, MS; her five grandchildren, Tony Michael Graham, Paris, France, Terry Graham, Midland, TX, raised as her own, Andrew Koenigsfeld, Anthony and Asia Graham, Savannah, GA. Her sisters, Annie Margaret Terrell, Flint, Ml, Helen Williams(Robert), Meridian, MS, Ann Ringhart, Chesapeake, VA, Rita Gavin, Detroit, Ml, Lana Price, White Plain, NY, Marilyn Graham (Tillaman), Baton Rouge, LA and Kimberlyn Battiest (Robert), Arlington, TX. Her brothers, Tim Wiley (Lula Mae) William Michael, Randy (Ora), and Eddie Graham, all of Meridian, MS. Charles Wiley (Joann), Atmore, AL, Dan Gordon, Tampa, FL and a dearly devoted friend, Nancy Miller, Flint, Ml. A host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Roger C and Liley Marie Wiley Graham, son Tony L. Graham, sister Betty Wiley, brothers Noah Earl Williams, Robert Lewis Wiley, Earl Graham, Tommy C. Wiley, James Cleo Wiley and Rickey W, Graham.
