Mr. Ross Edward Jordan's Obituary
Ross Edward Jordan was born on December 16, 1951, to King and Irene Jordan in Pachuta, MS.
Ross attended school at Shirley Owens in Quitman, MS. At an early age he attended Mt. Jordan United Methodist Church. He moved from Pachuta, MS to Pomona, California and gained employment. There he met Ora Lee Ross, who became his loving wife of many years. He moved back to Pachuta, MS in early 1998 to help with his parents. He secured employment with Madison Paving and Tillery Incorp. until his health began to decline.
Ross Jordan departed this life on July 2, 2023, at Ochsner Watkins Hospital in Quitman, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents King and Irene Jordan, his wife Ora Jordan, a sister, Cora Sue Lewis, a brother, King Edward Jordan, a nephew, Lewis Dukes and a great nephew, Cory Alexander Jordan.
Ross leaves to mourn his passing: two sisters, Betty Jordan and Margaretta Lofton; two brothers, Cecil Jordan and Joe Jordan, all of Pachuta, MS; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Jean Jordan and Janice Jordan; two stepsons, Brian and Brandon Hogan of Pomona, California; nine nieces and five nephews, and many great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and special friends, Sheila Hales, Ledell Dubose, Jr., Darryl Evans, Charles Harris and Grover Page.
