Ruby Mildred (nee: Goines) Jones departed this life Friday, April 12, 2013 at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital, Quitman, MS. She was born on April 29, 1928 to Robert and Helen (nee: Williams) Goines in Enterprise, Mississippi. "Mildred" as she was affectionately known, was united in holy matrimony to Paul Jones who preceded her in death on March 19, 1984. To this union four children were born. Case Company where she worked as a Checker in the SPS Department and retired in 1991. Ruby was a long time member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Racine, WI. under the leadership of Rev. J. B. Bailey and later Bishop Lawrence L. Kirby, Sr. After relocating to her hometown of Enterprise, MS. in 2005, she re-united with New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully until her health recently prevented her attendance. Mildred had a very generous spirit, helping many people in any way she could, especially fi-nancially. She was a Fashionista known for her extensive suit and unique hat collection. Nobody could make an ugly hat look as good as she could! Ruby was straight forward saying whatever she thought. She had a way with words, her many quips and quotes would make you wonder if she missed her calling as a comedienne. Mildred was the matriarch of five generations, she 'loved her family. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren were amazed and in awe each time she made the trip from Mississippi to Wisconsin because it was like Christmas, she always brought a full truckload of gifts for them.
