Ms. Ruby Lee Maggard Wilson's Obituary
RUBY LEE MAGGARD WILSON "MADEAR" was born to the late Ora Dee Maggard Hutton and Louis Hutton on May 5, 1931 in Russell, Mississippi, where she attended Stevenson High School. She was the youngest of three children. Ruby moved to Meridian, Mississippi with her family, as she worked faithfully at Bill's Cafe, The Lake and also for the Meridian Public School System until her health began to fail. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age but remained faithful in serving the Lord. Ruby joined Mt. Valley Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J. B. Peter where she faithfully served as a proud member, Superintendent of Sunday School, sang in the choir and Pastor's Aide President. Mrs. Ruby Lee Maggard Wilson made her final transition to eternal life on August 24, 2016. Ruby is preceded in death by both parents, Ora Dee Maggard and Louis Hutton, brothers, Floyd Davis and Grady Coleman. Ruby leaves a lifetime of loving memories with her four children, Ezell Wilson Jr. ( Carolyn, preceded her in death) , Betty Boyd (Louis), Hazel Bentley (Fred) and Ira Fowler (Elbert); thirteen grandchildren; twenty .. seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of family and friends.
