Ruth Lavon Johnson was born February 25, 1973 in Meridian, MS at Matty Hersey Hospital to the late Mr. Charlie and Louise Johnson. She departed this life on August 8, 2022 at Anderson Regional Hospital. Ruth accepted Christ at an early age . She joined Mt. Valley Baptist Church in Meridian, MS. She sung in the choir, and she joined the usher board while attending Mt. Valley. Ruth graduated from Meridian High School class of 92. Ruth did not have any children of her own, but she enjoyed being a Aunt to her nieces and nephews. She worked at McDonald where she encounter many people and used her personality to gain many friends. She never met a stranger, yet she was unique in her own special way. She made you smile when you didn't want too. She left a history behind. Ruth precedes in death mother Mrs. Louise Irene Hopson -Johnson and Father Mr. Charlie Lee Johnson. Brothers, Roman Johnson, Jessie Burton, Johnny Johnson, Lawrence Johnson, Walter James Johnson, Johnny Lee Johnson, Sisters, Eloise Johnson -Arcello and Latonia Roman Johnson, Aunties Earnestine Mosley, and Augustine Webb, God-mother Eartha McCullum and Grandparents (Paternal) Ethel Harris and (Maternal) Jessie BHopson. Ruth L. Johnson leaves to cherish her life 5 sisters, Taffy (Conrad)RuHin, (Meridian, MS), Ethel (Bart) Burton Muller, Seattle, Ml, Ethel Mae Johnson, Ollie Ruth Huell, and Alice Burton . 3 Brothers Howard (Nita) Johnson, (Meridian, MS) Jimmy (Rose Mary) Lee Johnson, and Timothy Ray ( Lenora) Johnson all of Meridian, MS. Uncle Robert (Grace) Harris; sister-in-law, Carolyn Johnson; a very Special cousin, Derrick Harris; God Sister Michelle Silliman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
