Mrs. Rutha Mae Kinsey was born to the late Raymond and Rosie McKinnis, on No-vember 8, 1954, in Clarke County, MS She departed this life in the morning of May 22, 2018, at her home in Quitman, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; John E. Kinsey, two sisters: Mary Lou Carter, and Lula Bell McKinnis, one brother; Bobby Gene McKinnis, and one daughter; Toni Melissa Harris. Mrs. Rutha Mae Kinsey (better known as Betty) leaves to cherish her memories, one son James Jr. (Beverly) Harris, of Quitman, MS, two sisters: Ora Lee (Sidney) Winnick, and Eva Nell (Ollie) Brown both of Shubuta, MS, one brother; Henry Lee (Marilyn) McKinley of Beloit, Wisconsin, eight grand-children: Standrick Pace, Standaious Harris, Kevontia (K J) Thornton, Christian Thornton, Toneshia Thornton, Jaleesa Harris, Shamorie Harris, Jeremiah Harris, four great grands, one special niece Tracey McKinnis, Jackson, MS, two special friends: Larry Chapman, Samantha Wallace of Quitman, MS, and a host of relatives and friends.
