Mrs. Ruthie Mae Roland's Obituary
Ruthie Mae Roland was born on February 11, 1925 to the late Lawry and Amanda Crawford in Dekalb, MS. She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at The Historic First Union Baptist Church where she was an active member of over 70 years. Ruthie united in holy matrimony to the late Curtis Roland who she shared 70 wonderful years. On September 1, 2022 at the age of ninety-six (96) years old, the Lord called Ruthie Mae Roland from labor to rest. She leaves a legacy of love and fond memories with her three children Amelia Washington, Michael Roland and James Curtis Roland (Andrea); nine grandchildren: Paula Michelle James, Michelle Roland, Latisha Roland, Anndrea Fussell, Crimea Roland, Cristien Roland, Emileigh Ruth Washington, Zipporah Roland and Jonathan Curtis Roland; nine great-grandchildren, and a host of friends who will miss her dearly.
