Mrs. Sadie Warren's Obituary
Mrs. Sadie Warren was born February 13, 1941 to Charlie and Louberta Stokes. She attended Shirley Owens School in Quitman, MS and graduated in 1960. Sadie joined in holy matrimony to Richard L. Warren in 1967 and to this union four children were born. She was a home maker and stay at home mom not only raising her children and grandchildren, but helping raise countless other families when there was a need. After living in Louisiana for many years and upon moving back to Desoto, MS to take care of her oldest sister; she joined the Quitman chapter of Seven-Day Adventist Church under the direction of Pastor Phil Roberts. On February 14, 2014, Mrs. Sadie departed this life at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie Stokes and Louberta Barnett, siblings: Alonzo Stokes, Charlie Stokes Jr.,Celia B. Stokes, Ida Mae McQueen, Bitha Heidelberg, grandson: Craig Peters Jr., and great granddaughter: Kynnedy Martin. Mrs. Sadie leaves to cherish her memories, daughters: Wanda (John) Hatcher of Baton Rouge, LA., Angela Warren of Shabuta, MS. sons: Kelvin (Dawn) Warren of Franklinton, LA., Kenneth (Lisa) Warren of Slidell, LA., daughter/granddaughter: Harikiain Smith of Shu)ltita, MS., step children: Barbara Booth, Jonathan Gaines and Paul Jackson sisters: Minnie Sumling of Shubuta, MS., Mamie Johnson of Pittsburg, CA., Mary Wolverton of Laurel, MS., Lucille Middleton of Quitman, MS., Annie Lockett of Erie, PA. and a host of grand children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
