Mrs. Sally Pearl Clayton's Obituary
Sally Pearl Clayton was born on June 18, 1950 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Jerry and Mary L. Walker Hill. She accepted Christ at an early age and began her faith walk. She retired from Holiday Inn after working diligently for over 20 years. Upon moving to Daleville, she joined St. Mark United Methodist Church and served faithfully as an Usher until her death. She departed this life on December 9, 2015 in Memphis Tennessee. Sally touched the lives of so many people. She was a hard-working, dedicated, caring, friendly, thoughtful and loving person, who went out of her way to help everyone. She loved her husband, family, friends and church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Mary Hill, two sisters, Geraldine Hill Young and Annie K. Hill Clayton and one brother, Joe L. Hill. Her memories are left to be cherished by her loving husband, Leroy; two brothers, Jerry Hill Jr. "Buddy", and Jessie James Hill, three sisters; Sadie Mae Hill Williams "Brooks", Pauline Hill Lake and Mary Stennis. Also a mother-n-law, Sadie Hardy, four bothers-n-laws; Travis Wilson (Mary), David Wilson, Patrick Hardy (Paula) and Kenneth Hardy (Yvette), three sisters-n-laws; Janet Jones, Geraldine Wilson and Michelle Hardy, a stepson Gary L. Dove and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
