Mr. Sam Bell IV's Obituary
Sam Bell, IV was born on March 3, 1966 in Meridian, Mississippi to the late Cammie Mae Bell-Dawson.
At an earl age, along with his family, he attended St. Luke’s Baptist Church. He was a 1983 graduate of Meridian High School in Meridian, MS.
At the time of his passing, he was employed as a pipe fitter with Phillips Refinery in Roxana, Illinois.
On Saturday, November 12, 2022, at JMS Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia, Sam Bell, IV entered into eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brianna Nakia Spencer, his mother, Cammie MaeBell-Dawson, his grandparents, Sam and Florence Bell, his uncle Sam Bell Jr., and his sisters, Annie Louise Bell and Carolyn Jones-Lewis. Bro. Sam leaves to cherish his memories to his five children: Brandon Spencer, Andrea Spencer, Charlicia Cole, Khadijah Bell, and Khadafi Bell; seven grandchildren: Ja'Quavius Spence,; Branderious McShan, Jailen Cole, Brandshawn Spencer, Kimora Spencer, Jaylen Spencer, and Ja'liyah Cole; his two sisters: Aletha Bell and Shelia Rivera; his two brothers: Harvey Jones and Reginald Jones; his two aunts Martha Bell and Lula (Karl) Donald; his uncle: Junior C. Bell, all of Meridian, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Brother Sam Bell, a follower of Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, was a pillar of the community and worked diligently to guide and inspire the youth of Meridian, both in person and via his talk show, the Bell Ringer. He will be missed by all of his loved ones, and while his time on Earth may have been short, his legacy will live on though those who loved him.
