Mrs. Sandra Kaye Bolden's Obituary
Mrs. Sandra Kaye Williams-Bolden was born on August 23, 1956 in Meridian, MS to the late Sandy Brown and Maddie Williams. Sandra departed this life to enter eternal rest on Friday, February 11, 2022 at her home in Meridian. She attended Carver Jr. High School in Meridian, MS. She was a member of Sunlight Baptist Church at a young age and later took membership at Ebenezer Baptist Church where she served faithfully. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Sandy Brown; her mother Madie Williams; daughter, Sonya Pointer (Michael Pointer); brothers: William Brown, Bob Williams; and her 3 sisters: Glenda Brown, Madie Pearl Brown, and Lula Mae Ward (Jimmy Ward).
At an early age, Sandra met her husband Johnny Bolden Sr. of 50 years. During this matrimony, they had 10 children. She spent most of her life being a wife and mother. She was the pillar to her family in which she held everyone together.
Not just her family but throughout the community. Sandra never met a stranger. She treated everybody like family. She was always herself, a real true genuine one of kind woman, wife, mother, and truly a bet friend. She always knew what to say to make you feel better or at least laugh. She was definitely an angel on Earth that loved, nurtured, and protected her family with all that was in her until she answered the peaceful call of her Lord and Savior to enter into his eternal presence on February 11, 2022. Having fought a good fight, she finished her course and kept the faith. She is certain to receive her crown.
