Mrs. Sarah Lee Price Doby Johnson's Obituary
arah Lee Price Doby Johnson was born on February 17, 1956 to Geraldine Thomas and Ollie Lee Sanders. She was called to rest on Wednesday August 16, 2017 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. Sarah was preceded in death by her biological mother (Geraldine Thomas) and father (Ollie Lee Sanders) and the father who raised her as his own (Henry Gray) her husbands: Robert Walter Doby Jr. and Jessie Otis Johnson, son Randall Doby, Sister, Juanita Thomas, Brother, Shelbert Price and mother-in-law, Nettie Johnson. At an early age Sarah joined the First Enterprise Baptist Church and served faithfully until God called her home. Sarah was employed on numerous jobs. She worked for Hanson Scales in Shubuta, MS Burlington Industries in Stonewall, Mississippi for 26 years and served as a PCA until her health failed. Sarah was uniquely gifted in crafts, upholstery, flower arranging and her love for cooking. Sarah was married to Robert Walter Doby Jr. and to his union two children were born, Randall and Brandy Doby. After the death of Robert, she was united with Jessie Otis Johnson and to this union two children were born, Montario and Jessica Johnson. Sarah leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters: Brandy (Stan) Leflore, Jessica (Faliam) McKinney. One son: Montario Johnson, Two grand daughters: Jasmyn Leflore and Elashia Tamplin; two step-daughters: Katrina Gordon and Tanya Tims; one step-son: Jessie Mon Johnson and the mother who raised her: Sadie Gray, Nine Sisters: Henrietta (Sonny) Goodwin, Gloria Jones, Virginia (Joseph) Darby, Evelyn Brown, Angie Harrison, Hiawatha (Tony) Satcher, Robin Barron, Patricia (Sylvester) Ward, Melissa Thomas; four brothers: Danny Price, Andrew (Joann) Gray, Willie Frank Price, Barry (Evelyn) Price; six sisters-in-law: Clara (Pete) Newell, Lena (Dennis) Patterson, Kathy (Henry) Scott, Jenny (Willie) Griggs, Vera Johnson, Lera Johnson; Two Brothers-in-law: Billy (Odessa) Johnson, Bobby (Deborah) Johnson; Seven aunts: Mattie Johnson, Rosie Turner, Ruthie Sanders, Georgia Perry, Millie McSwain, Mattie Porichia, Frankie Blakely; One uncle: Melvin Sanders; Two god-daughters: Talena Satcher, Cheryl Washington, and a host of other step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. She also leaves special friends: Margie, John and Evan Edwards, Pastor Aaron and Linda Heidelberg, Wanda Hearns, Lois and Robert Lowery, Jimmie Dale Thompson, Dorothy (Pee Wee) McGruder, Tiffany Hoze, Laine and Cohan McGruder, Lucille Collins, Louise and Shelia McMillan, Eva Green, Angela Flucker and Francis Price.
