Ms. Sarah Mae Neal's Obituary
Sarah Mae Neal was born November 28, 1959 to the late Cornelius and Mary Alice Neal. Sara graduated from Meridian Junior College with her GED. Then later, she went on to Meridian community College pursuing a degree in Business Office Technology from 2001 until her health started failing her. She was a faithful member of St. James AME Church until her health started failing. She was a member of the Velma Walker Choir, Church Secretary, a YPD Member and a part of the Mattie B. Thomas Missionary Society.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Cornelius Neal Jr., and Joe Kelly Neal; God-parents, Frank and Sarah Carter; a son-in-law, Raphael S. Roberts and a special friend, Ola B. Roberts.
Sara leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter, Tashiba Roberts (Corey); two granddaughters, Alicia Roberts (Joshua) and Ja’Kayla Roberts; a grandson, D’Mitriy Roberts; one sister, Laura Neal; three brothers, Israel Neal, Johnny Lee (Kim) Neal all of Meridian, MS; and Jordan Neal from Waynesboro, MS.
Sara also leaves to cherish her memory: three special daughters, Kendaysha Davis, Brittney Houston and Debra Scott; two special sisters, Lorraine Waterford from Chicago, IL and Betty Humphreys of Meridian, MS; two special cousins, Sinnessa (Greg) Wilburn of Meridian, MS; and Maria (Chris) Porter from Chicago, IL; an aunt, Ida Boyd; an uncle, Luther James Boyd of Lauderdale, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
