Mrs. Saundra "Queenie" Winfield McCoy's Obituary
Saundra Winfield McCoy, affectionately known as "Queenie, was born Tuesday, August 6, 1968 to Jessie Winfield and Edith Rack-\ley Winfield. Early in life, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She received her education from the Meridian Public School System. She went on to become gainfully employed and was a hardworking, devoted, loyal, and faithful employee. Saundra was the mother of four children. She was a devoted, caring, and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Saundra departed her earthly life and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the age of 50. Her daughter, Tyeisha Winfield, and mother, Edith Rackley Winfield, preceded her in death. Saundra leaves to cherish her memories: three children-Rodriquez Winfield, Cordarius Taylor, and Dajour Taylor; her father, Jessie Winfield of Chattanooga, TN; one brother, Jessie Winfield, Jr. (Vicki) of Meridian, MS; one sister, Barbara Winfield Collier of Mobile, AL; eleven grandchildren with two of them that she was raising as her own which includes Kalashia Winfield and Quendarious Winfield, both of Meridian, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
