Ms. Sheenetha Esters Williams' Obituary
Ms. Sheenetha Williams was born July 18, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois. was the only child born to Corene Esters of Meridian Mississippi. She was a loving and happy child full of life. She loved to travel, attend church, and she enjoyed music. At an early age, Sheenetha confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at Greater Calvary Baptist Church. She was very studious and later in life graduated from Meridian High School in 1976. She continued her education at Jackson State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1984, she began her career at the Naval Air Station at the Yeoman A School where she interacted with over 83,000 students before retiring. She devoted her time to her family, church, and her career. She could always be found attending and participating in church events all over Mississippi. She encouraged her children to be independent, strong, and believers. She displayed the love of Christ to all and shared the gospel. On Friday, March, 13, 2015, Sheenetha Williams was called to her final resting place with the Lord.
Sheenetha Esters Williams leaves to mourn and cherish her wonderful memories: her mother Corene Esters of Chicago, lllinois; her two daughters: Corensha Williams and Shevonda Truman of Meridian, Mississippi; her son Lesmon Williams of Seattle, Washington; and her son-in-law Centel Truman of Meridian, Mississippi. She leaves two grandchildren: Hailey Elise Truman and Jordan Williams. She leaves her ex-husband and long-time friend Lester Williams. Her three uncles: Willie Esters of Chicago Illinois; Hubbard Deloach Jr. of Carrollton Georgia; and Leon Chandler of Riverdale Georgia. Devoted friends and family include Faye Hopkins, Kesha Houston, Lexis Sims, Sharon Mason, Jean Mason, Sharon & Demetrius Esters, Michael Key, Walter Key, Wallace Jr. Key, and the Eskridge Family. She leaves a host of other family members and friends who loved her dearly.
