Sherley Conner was born October 14, 1960 to the late R.J. Conner and Etta Barnett. She departed life on Sunday May 14, 2017 in Meridian, MS. She was a member of Life Song Ministries where she attended, and served faithfully until her death. Sherley was united in holy matrimony to Danny Cameron in 2003 until her passing. She had three children from a previous marriage. She leaves to cherish her memories Marcus Conner, Mobile, AL; Sherland (Lamont) Lacey, Waynesboro, MS; Shovonne Nelson, Quitman, MS; Daniel Cameron, Meridian, MS; four grandchildren: Victoria Conner, Lamont Lacey, Aniya Lacey, and Kennedi Cameron Lacey She also leaves nine sisters: Lillie (Robert) Loper, Quitman, MS; Alice August, Quitman, MS; Ora (Charles) Jasper, Shubuta, MS; Mary Conner, Fort Lauderdale, FL; Sarah Powe, Hattiesburg, MS; Flora Sumrall, Shubuta, MS; Mae (David) Staten, Lessie Shanks, Fort Belvoir, VA; Shimeka (Jemel) Robinson, Shubuta, MS; three brothers: C Vester (Maggie) Conner, Meridian, MS; Freeman (Tammie) Conner, Gulfport, MS; Herman (Janice) Jones, Shubuta, MS; four sister in-laws: Carolyn Phillips, Meridian, MS; Sharon Phillips, Meridian, MS; Barbara Phillips, Meridian, MS; Sherry Lynn Phillips, Meridian, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
